MIRA recently hosted a crash demonstration day on behalf of "The Passive Revolution" on our Highway and Vehicle Outdoor Crash (HAVOC) site. The purpose of the event was to demonstrate the crash performance of different road side furniture products such as lighting columns and sign post assemblies.

Around 300 attendees from a variety of organisations with interests in road safety such as the police, local authorities, highways agencies and equipment suppliers witnessed five demonstrations. Between each crash they were able to view the products and discuss their merits with the suppliers.
