The full quality assurance route is a great advantage to the manufacturer of a large range of equipment. If the customer is able to follow this route his products are not subject to the individual product monitoring required under annex VI. This route does not demand the certification of the customer to ISO 9001 or ISO 9002, only that the customer has a quality system that meets the requirements of annex VIII. Conformity assessment procedures for equipment subject to noise limits(article 12 of 2000/14/EC)Before placing on the market or putting into service any equipment referred to in Article 12 the manufacturer, or his authorised representative established in the Community, shall subject each type of equipment to one of the following conformity assessment procedures:
